From dawn to after dinner, Biagio Costantino welcomes tourists and regulars with professionalism and competence

The Caffè della Posta has been part of the history of the village since 1911. In this year, in fact, Flavio and Luisa Guichardaz decided to open the first coffee and spice shop in the heart of Courmayeur, a few metres from the post office and the bus stop. And so it became, in the postwar period, a ritual to meet in this esteemed bar, heated by a fireplace from the 1400s with an embellished ceiling since 1600s.

Many famous individuals such as: the actor Errol Flynn, the Princes Torlonia, the Count Calvi di Bergolo and Count Marone Cinzano, the Marquis Raggio and the legendary King Farouk have followed one another into bar. To this day, thanks to the wise management by Biagio Costantino, you can still breath the welcoming atmosphere of once upon a time, which makes “il Posta” an obligatory stopping point for tourists from around the world.
